Police officers from the Wallkill Police Department and members of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Cumberland Farms on East Main Street at 11:19 a.m. on Wednesday morning, where there was an emergency medical services call.

Upon arrival at Cumberland Farms, officers found a 26-year-old man in the bathroom who was unconscious and demonstrating signs of an overdose, police said. Officers administered first aid and nasally delivered Narcan, and the man regained consciousness in minutes.

Once revived, the man was transported by the Town of Wallkill Ambulance Corp to Orange Regional Medical Center for treatment and evaluation.
